REGISTRATION REMINDER & THE FUNDRAISING FEE EXPLAINED

Dear Skaters, Parents and Carers, 

There are only 12 days left until registration for the upcoming 2023-2024 skating season closes on 31st August 2023! 

Registration is online at our website: norwoodskates.uplifterinc.com/registration

We will be holding pre-assessment sessions on either Monday, September 18th or Wednesday, September 20th 2023 for new CanSkate students. StarSkaters begin on September 18th or September 20th, all CanSkate lessons commence the following week (25th/27th September). 

As you complete your registration you will need to read and accept our Club policies. The refund, privacy and health & safety (helmet) policies were part of last season's registration. The additional policy is for the return of the Fundraising Fee. There was no fundraising activity last season and unfortunately this resulted in a $7,000 shortfall for the Club. The Club does not have a bank balance large enough to sustain such a significant shortfall again and the decision was taken to bring back the fundraising fee. 

But what is the fundraising fee?

The fundraising fee covers your pre-payment for two booklets of raffle tickets. You are welcome to sell the raffle tickets to other people and keep that money as you have prepaid for the tickets. The raffle tickets will be distributed in the new year and prizes will be drawn at the Ice Show in 
February. The fundraising fee is per family, not per skater.

NEW SKATER REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 

New and returning skaters may now register for the 2023-2024 season. 

Registration CLOSES 31st AUGUST 2023

2023-2024 RETURNING SKATER REGISTRATION IS OPEN

*** 2023-2024 REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR RETURNING SKATERS ***

The SkateCanada fee and a $25.00 administration fee are non-refundable. 

Discounts are automatically applied to those that qualify and are calculated once Programs are in your Shopping Cart. 
Family Discount - three family members in the same season receive a reduction.
Multi-Session Discount - is applicable for two or more nights within one program, for one skater.
