ICE SHOW THEME ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are very excited to announce that the theme for the 2025 Ice Show is "Cowboys & Aliens" !!

The annual Ice Show is the chance for all our skaters to wear fun costumes and showcase their skating skills and talents as part of their group numbers. For the younger skaters, the groups are lead by a Program Assistant. The Ice Show is also our only fundraising event, last year we were pleased with the large number of donations and sponsorships we received, this helped to maintain the Club's financial situation.

WE ARE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP.

Fundraising Draw Tickets - PRIZE DONATIONS - We are looking for prizes to be donated for our Fundraising Draw Ticket prizes. To maximize the fundraising opportunity of the draw tickets, we would love to have families and businesses donate or discount prizes to be added to the draw tickets. We are thinking of items that can be bundled together for a 'Under the Stars' picnic package, 'Cowboy Cuisine' bbq-ing package, or create your own prize bundle! Please contact the Club at norwooddistrictskatingclub@live.ca and help make the Ice Show fun and memorable! Or speak to a member of the Executive, we are usually at the table in the main lobby on skating nights.

As part of the registration process, every family paid the Fundraising Fee. This fee equates to 20 draw tickets (two booklets). The draw tickets will be available for collection at the Welcome Table in the Lobby during regular skating from December. As each family has prepaid for 20 tickets, if you sell these tickets, you keep the money. Returning this year is an Early Bird Draw and a prize for our Top Ticket Seller!!

“Cowboys & Aliens” Ice Show - Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2pm, doors open at 1pm. Dress rehearsal will be on Thursday, February 6th from 4:30pm to 8pm.

Why do we need sponsorship for the Ice Show? Why do we charge the fundraising fee? Why do we need donations? FOR FURTHER INFORMATION PLEASE READ OUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION PAGE ON OUR WEBSITE.
