Fundraising Fee Policy
The Norwood District Skating Club is a non-profit, volunteer organization. Hundreds of hours are put into every season by the Executive Committee and parent volunteers to ensure the programs offered are provided at an acceptable standard. Our Club relies on volunteers and fundraising to successfully operate and keep costs reasonable for families. Registration revenues only cover a portion of the Club's operating expenses and we receive no regular additional government funding.
Our Club has created a Fundraising Fee Policy that is mandatory for all families and is as follows.
Note: This fee is per family, not per skater!
I understand there will be a $100 fee for Fundraising added to my registration. (for the 2023-2024 season)
I understand the $100 is for the cost of two (2) books of raffle tickets, the prize draw will be held at the Ice Show on February 11th 2024.
I understand that selling these tickets to family, friends and colleagues will allow me to recoup my $100.
I understand that should I sell the two (2) book of tickets, I will keep that money since I already paid for the tickets in advance.
I understand that any other Fundraisers held throughout the season will be optional for me to participate.
We appreciate your understanding and acceptance of this policy.
